Well... I knew a good Christmas idea for Traffic Signals nSigns when I saw one, even if it was out of season when I saw it. Some joker had stuck a big red round sticker on a Deer Crossing Sign. I had a good laugh when I saw it. There were a couple of problems though. I didn't pass this particular sign very often, and when I did, I never had time to stop and photograph it.
I began looking for any Deer Crossing sign to photograph that I could find. I made an interesting discovery; deer, in my area of Michigan at least, don't seem to like crossing roads where there is handy parking available. Finally, on a sunny day in early December, I parked my care at the edge of a parking lot and walked about a quarter of a mile to take a picture of this one. (I've added Rudolph's red nose to the photo in honor of the sign I don't get to drive by much.)
The quarter mile walk was worth it, in my opinion!
