This parakeet was photographed at Living Treasures Animal Park in Pennsy1vania.
He reminds me of a green parakeet named Paco that my sister owned while I was growing up. She taught Paco to say all kinds of words, and he was a lot of fun. Later on, I owned a blue parakeet that I named Pickwick.
Shortly after my husband and I were married, a neighbor offered us a pair of them that she couldn't keep anymore. We owned Pretty, (a sky blue female parakeet) and Beau, who was almost entirely yellow, for several years.
These are wonderful little birds! I have many happy members of the ones that I grew up with or owned.
