Bar-Jac is the kennel that bred Annie. Barbara and Jack, the couple that bred her, put their names together to form the name of their kennel. :)
Annie had a splash of white at the top of her neck that looked like just like a fan! You can see a hint of it in the photograph. Most pedigree dogs have call names, since their registered names are so long. The breeder's call name for her was "Fannie", but we changed it to Annie, because I liked that name better. :)

Bar-Jac Hula Fan Dancer!
As I said, ...she must have been quite a treasure! I understood the "Bar-Jac" part, but just HOW does a DOG get the wild moniker "Hula Fan Dancer"?? Ha! Great name, and a gorgeous pooch! Thanks! -Cassandra. fav+1
