What the ferret in the air is doing, is something all ferrets do. It's called the weasel war dance. It's done because of pure joy, excitement, or just because they feel like doing it. They will do it anywhere if the mood suits them, on top of tables. couches,etc. If they do it on top of a table, often they'll bounce off of the table rather than stop if there on a roll. I had 6 of these characters, and watching all 6 of them dancing at the same time was really something to see.
