I have a 4 year old purebred beagle who is my best pal ever. My kids love him. My wife loves him. He is rather strong minded and protective of his family. He tries to be the alpha male in our house even over me. We love him to pieces. This is a prime example of a Beagle outdoors just going on the scent that crosses his nose.
