I am Canadian but when in Australia (Wodonga) this little guy used to wake me every morning. He's just beautiful. Thanks for such an amazing picture.

Yes, you spelt it's name correctly. I'm an Aussie so +1 for this :) When it makes it's sound we say the Kookaburra is laughing because that's what it sounds like :)
