I was confused by the description of this gorgeous white dog and the conflicting comments as well...so I did a little research to find out what the actual breed is and where it originates...this is what I found per Wikipedia:

It is indeed a beautiful Samoyed. I have always had at least two for the past 50 years.
My current two, Qannik & Kai are on here somewhere.
I have no idea where Whitetiger got the erroneous information about Samoyeds from, but it is just nonsense. The Samoyed was initially bred by an Innuit tribe but they went nowhere near Russia...Or Greenland for that matter. The Samoyed is the only pure white Husky, even down to the eyelashes and they are an Eskimo breed.

Although this dog looks more like a polar bear, I love it because it's so cute and it's mane is very fluffy!!!

the samoyed, country of origin northwest russia &western siberia.
There is an ancient Siberia tribe known as the Samoyedes.The Samoyedes people were nomads.The dogs pull sleds and herd reindeer,but also hunted amimals for food and clothing.They were even known to hunt polar bears.This dog was later named the samoyed after the name of the tribe.Its a samoyed not a north greenland dog.

the north greenland dog is beautiful my goodness i love dogs i wouldnt mind havin one of them dogs for myself.but i no there are expensive dogs to have.but if i had the money one of those dogs would be mine.
