I lived in Cape Town, South Africa for 4 years (1962 - 66), the Elephant is the King, not the Lion !! They can be found at several game reserves in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Namibia (former SW Africa) and South Africa. Hunted for their ivory, they now have armed guards protection them. The calves are cute. on one occasion, we were in the bush and witnessed a very large herd with calves, we counted all told 93 elephants !! Great pic.
