yes, they are wetland (marshes, lakes and shallow, inland, water saturated regions) birds and very pretty. Curved beaks are usually ibis family. It may be a 'glossy ibis' which has rich brown tones.:D

I think they these birds are part of the wading family, but I don't know anything else.
