Maine Park owns over 75 different Maine-Anjou bloodlines, which have been collected over the past 28 years. The Maine-Anjou genetics Maine Park owns include semen from Canada, US, England, France and Australia. We utilise both red & white, red and black Maine-Anjou bulls across the selection of poll, horn and scur. Maine Park is aiming to have an entirely polled herd of Maine-Anjou within the next five years. We will still be utilising our best smooth muscled horned bulls over our polled females in the future.

These cattle certainly have an interesting name. I'm very fond of pears, and the anjou pear is one of them! Anjou is a French word, I think. Maybe the word anjou is a tip off to the French part of their ancestry! f + 300
