I want to add that a few years ago I came across a mama opossum in the road that had been hit by car..I got out to move her and her belly was moving..I reached in her pouch and pulled out 13 babies!..They were newly born still pink.I got a small bottle and heat pad and fed each one several times a day. They got hair on them and would hang off my finger by their tails, but, one by one they died..I was so disappointed, I wanted at least one to make it to let loose..They was adorable..I was delivering for Dominos' Pizza at the time I found them and the newspaper came out and took the pic..The title was..Domino's..REALLY Delivers!..I delivered those little babies..Thanks for the memories..Carri
