This is a Carolina Wren. I have one nesting in my pick up truck in a cavity behind the front turn signal. She has just one baby, probably because i kept trying to discourage her by removing the nesting material repeatedly and driving the truck on short trips daily. But she wouldn't give up and successfully laid and incubated one egg. I realized he was in there after returning from the grocery store and heard him calling for his mom who promptly showed up with a worm. After considering several options I decided to park the truck for the time it takes her to raise him. I have an old Bronco I can drive temporarily. It will take about 12 to 14 days for him to become a fledgling and leave the nest while still under his mother's care .
