Ive seen these as well at Burnham Beeches, but I don't think they where made by ants. Thanks for the post.

Channel 5 news has just reported more mysterious circle formations at Hillshyre Farms. After analyzing data, scientists have concluded that these may have very well been created by, well by some sort of insect like creatures from a far and distant yard.
