This dog is described chestnut in color. Really? Come on, now.
This is an Irish Setter. What color do you think of? Red, of course.
So the description should be sorrel or red.
Just like horses, the redder version is sorrel, the creamier version is chestnut; bay's are sort of reddish brown w/a black mane and tail.
And sometimes their body color is a dulled brown and once in a great while will get a blood-bay.
