I was searching for a wallpaper you did of an elk holding up traffic. (Now I actually think it was a Mountain Goat that I was thinking of. I think you might have named it Goat Owning the Road.)
Yesterday I caught the very end of a TV show about problem elk in Banff Alberta! They were showing one solution to the problem. A pair of dogs, perhaps they were border collies, carefully drove several elk from off of people's lawns, into a lake and held the elk there, where they could not hurt people and where people would not be silly enough to try to walk up close to them.
Smart dog handler, smart dogs!
Of course I thought of you Tom, since you are the one who told me what a problem the elk (or the tourists) in Banff can be.
