The Swan - Poem
The Swan

With lilac feathers cast towards the earth,
where the sunset reflects its light,
and with your white plume lifted towards the skies
you make your ascent, that takes no effort at all
as you now dance within Our light.

You may, by chance, glance towards the shoreline
of what has been,
but that does not deter you from the flight
that you are now taking.

Your yellow bill turns towards the headwinds
of your advance,
set upon this course, as you are,
where your only pursuit is to taste the air
and to feel your heart,
and know that you have always found your way,
as you find your way now
with so much more that you have learned.

Such wisdom aids your journey
and brings you to the sunrise
of feathers turned to the gold
of freedom's flight.

So bless it all.
