I took this photograph in Shipshewana Indiana, where most of the population is Amish. Most Amish people don't wish to be photographed, so I did my best to leave the people out of it. I love the way they get around. Horses are far more classy than automobiles, in my opinion. lol Don't get me wrong, I am thankful for cars and don't know what I would do without mine... but I've been horse crazy since I was a kid, and that hasn't changed one bit.
I took this photo rather hurriedly and didn't realize until later that the horses heads are somewhat hidden by a sign. At first I was disappointed by that until I realized that the sign read; "Horse Drawn Vehicles Only." A parking lot for buggies only? How neat is that? I wish we had a parking lot like that where I live... I'd go and visit with the horses all day!

PS. Furthermore, I think it's great that my Traffic Signals nSigns group now has a horse and buggy wallpaper in it.
