There is an ancient Siberia tribe known as the Samoyedes.The Samoyedes people were nomads.The dogs pull sleds and herd reindeer,but also hunted amimals for food and clothing.They were even known to hunt polar bears.This dog was later named the samoyed after the name of the tribe.Its a samoyed not a north greenland dog. |
